Text of Bills and Resolutions to be Considered during the Weeks of January 3 and 10, 2010
The Committee on Rules Republicans posted the text of several measures to be considered during the week of January 3, 2010, including the 112th Congress Rules package and a resolution reducing the amount authorized for salaries and expenses of Member, committee, and leadership offices in 2011 and 2012. The Rules Committee has also posted the text of H.R. ___, a bill repealing the job-killing health care law, and H.Res. ___, instructing certain committees to report legislation replacing the job-killing health care law which will be considered the following week.

Dreier Praises Proposed 112th Congress Rules Package as “Reform Minded, Accountability Oriented”
WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman David Dreier (R-CA), House Rules Committee Ranking Republican, praised the release of a draft Rules package for the 112th Congress today as “reform minded and accountability oriented.” The draft package, which is being publicly posted in advance for the first time, must be debated and approved by the House Republican Conference.

House Republicans Release Proposed 112th Congress Rules Package
Today, the House Republicans released their proposed package of rules changes for the 112th Congress. These changes will be considered during the continued organization meeting of the House Republican Conference in early January and on the opening day of the 112th Congress.
