If you have information concerning possible violations of federal law, but need information on what the FBI investigates, click on the Investigative Programs button.

If you have information which you believe constitutes a violation of federal law which is investigated by the FBI and requires an immediate response DO NOT SEND AN E-MAIL. Instead, call local law enforcement or the FBI Los Angeles Field Office at (310) 477-6565.

If you have information which does not require an immediate response, e-mail addresses are listed below which can help you report suspected criminal activity. Please include the following information in your message:

1. Your name, address, telephone number, and date of birth
2. Subject's name and aliases
3. Subject's address
4. Subject's date of birth
5. Physical description of subject
6. Details of alleged criminal activity

Although the e-mail we receive is reviewed, the FBI does no guarantee a response to all messages. Please do not include attachments unless otherwise instructed.

Cyber Crimes

If you would like to receive unclassified national security threat and warning information via e-mail and are a U.S. corporation, law enforcement agency or other government agency, you may contact the Awareness of National Security Issues and Response (ANSIR) at ansir@leo.gov. You will need to provide your e-mail address, name, position, company/agency name, address and telephone number.

If you have been a victim of fraud while conducting business or other activity on the Internet, you may file a complaint with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC) at www.ifccfbi.gov.

If you would like more information about a system designed to protect the critical infrastructures within the U. S. you may contact the Los Angeles InfraGard Coordinator at InfraGard.LosAngeles@fbi.gov.

Crimes Against Children

If you have information about an Internet web site which publishes or promotes child pornography, please contact the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at www.ncmec.org.

If you have information about a minor who has been a victim of sexual exploitation or other type of criminal act, please contact your local FBI office or police department. The FBI Los Angeles Field Office can be reached at los.angeles@fbi.gov or at (310) 477-6565.
