Livonia, Mi– Today, Rep. Haley Stevens (MI-11) announced that she secured nearly 18 million dollars of federal funding for ten community projects across Michigan’s 11th District. These funding projects were signed into law by President Biden, as part of a bipartisan government funding package.  Information about each project can be found below:

Washington, DC (March 4, 2022) – Today, Congresswomen Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ-12) and Haley Stevens (MI-11) introduced H.Res. 967, a resolution recognizing the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on children who have lost caregivers and calling on the Federal Government to identify services and resources that can be used to assist them.

Washington, DC– Today, Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI) with Reps. Deborah Ross (D-NC), Nikema Williams (D-GA), and Alma Adams introduced the Clean Slate Through Consolidation Act, a bill to remove default records from the credit history of federal student loan borrowers who have consolidated their defaulted loan. This legislation is in partnership with Rep. Williams’ Student Loan Rehabilitation and Credit Score Improvement Act and Rep. Ross’ Clean Slate through Repayment Act, both of which have already been introduced.
