We cannot allow Republicans to #MakeAmericaSickAgain. Hundreds of thousands of Marylanders โ€“ and millions of Americans โ€“ depend on the Affordable Care Act to get medical care for themselves and their families. Today, I stood alongside Maryland officials, including Senator Ben Cardin, Senator Chris Van Hollen, Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer, Representative Elijah E. Cummings and Dr. Leana Wen, to fight back against the G.O.P.โ€™s attempt to repeal the ACA.

60 YEARS AGO TODAY, the Montgomery Bus Boycott ended after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Alabama's racial segregation laws for buses were unconstitutional. Progress is a long road, but in time, we always get where weโ€™re going.

Earlier this week, we shined a light on President-elect Donald J.Trumpโ€™s potential conflicts of interest. These issues need to be addressed and resolved before he takes office.

Had a chance the speak at this morningโ€™s Committee for Montgomery Legislative Breakfast to unofficially kick off the upcoming yearโ€™s legislative session. Thanks for having me.

HAPPENING NOW: Weโ€™re holding a forum about President-elect Donald J. Trumpโ€™s numerous foreign dealings and other conflicts of interest. He must address these ethical issues before he takes office โ€“ not after.

My thoughts about the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)'s determination that Russia interfered with the 2016 election.
