Social Security/Retirement
 
I believe that Social Security is the most important safety-net program in the United States today. Its time-tested success at keeping millions of American out of poverty proves that we must preserve Social Security, not dismantle it.

I will work in the 110th Congress to protect and strengthen the Social Security system.  I will also oppose any attempts to privatize any part of the Social Security program.
