Constituent Services

I am pleased to offer special services to my constituents in Alabama's third Congressional District. As your representative to the U.S. Congress, I hope to assist you in dealing with the federal government. Listed below are some ways in which my office may assist constituents:

Casework—If you can't get an answer from a federal agency in a timely fashion, or if you feel you have been treated unfairly, my office might be able to help resolve a problem or get you the information you need. If you need help with a problem you are having with a federal agency, please complete a casework request form and mail it to my office.

Academy Nominations—I am able to nominate exceptional young men and women who reside in my congressional district to the United States Military Service Academies, including the Air Force, Military, Naval, and Merchant Marine Academies.

D.C. Visitor Information—For those constituents visiting the Washington D.C. area, I am pleased to offer this information on local tours and points of interest.

Flag Requests—Looking for a way to commemorate a special occasion or to honor someone? Have a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol and sent to you.

U.S. Capitol Tours—One of the privileges I have as a Member of Congress is the ability to provide my constituents with V.I.P. tours of the United States Capitol building.

Student Financial Aid— Information is available to students to learn more about the process of locating and applying for financial aid.

Grants Resources—Discover thousands of federal grant programs that your organization might be eligible for and I am often asked about what is available.

Voter Registration—As a resident of Alabama, you may register to vote by completing a voter registration card and mailing it to your county Board of Registrars.

Internships—An internship in my office provides a great opportunity for students to learn first-hand how our government works. Interns gain valuable knowledge and experience by having hands-on opportunity to learn about the legislative process, as well as the operations of a Congressional office.
