Service Academies

The United States Armed Forces offer val-uable programs through the various Service Academies. Students who are admitted to the academies make a 3-8 year post-graduation commitment to the Armed Forces and, in exchange for that commitment, receive a full education and military training.

In order to be admitted to the Air Force, Military (West Point), Navy, or Merchant Marine Academies, potential students must contact either their Congressperson or Senator who then have the honor of interviewing and nominating candidates to the academies.
