    The 1990 census provides a rich source of race data. You may extract 1990 census data from the Summary Tape Files using our American FactFinder.

    The Current Population Survey (CPS) provides national level data on the social, economic, and demographic characteristics of selected race groups, There is information for current and past dates. Use the Subjects A to Z to choose a topic by race... eg: for education by race, choose the topic "Education". Note, not all topics will provide data by race.
