About the Office: The Public Integrity Section is a litigating Section of the Criminal Division, Department of Justice, with nationwide responsibility for prosecuting public corruption and election crimes. The Section prosecutes cases referred to it as a result of USAO recusals, referrals from the investigative agencies, and requests for assistance from the United States Attorneys.

Responsibilities and
Opportunity Offered
: The Section is seeking experienced prosecutors to fill two trial attorney positions. The positions involve substantial responsibility for handling complex corruption investigations and prosecutions.

Qualifications: Required qualifications: Applicants must possess a J.D. degree, be duly licensed and authorized to practice as an attorney under the laws of a State, territory, or the District of Columbia and have at least three years of post-J.D. legal experience.

Preferred qualifications: The successful applicant will have an extremely strong academic background, outstanding writing and advocacy skills, and substantial federal prosecutorial experience, preferably in handling complex white collar crime matters.

Travel: Requires substantial travel on a regular basis.

Salary Information: Current salary and years of experience determine the appropriate salary level,
(GS-13) $69,054-$89,774 per annum
(GS-14) $81,602-$106,086 per annum
(GS-15) $95,987-$124,783 per annum
