Location of Work:  Phillip Burton Federal Building, 450 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94102-3495

STATEMENT OF WORK

(1)     PURPOSE: The United States Attorney's Office, Northern District of California requires the rental of courtroom display equipment.

(2)     INTRODUCTION:  The United States Attorneys serve as the nation's principal litigators under the direction of the Attorney General.  United States Attorneys conduct most of the trial work in which the United States is a party.  Occasionally, there is a requirement to rent audio-visual equipment for use in the courtroom to support the Assistant United Attorneys in presenting the Government's case.

(3)     SCOPE OF WORK: The United States Attorney's Office, Northern District of California, requires a Contractor to provide display equipment for US v Mikailli, Case Number CR020136.  Contractor must provide the equipment listed below for the duration of the trial. Contractor will also be required to set-up and break-down the equipment.  Anticipated start date for set-up and rental of equipment is September 11, 2003.  The trial begins September 15, 2003, with an anticipated end date of October 31, 2003.  Break-down of equipment shall occur immediately after the trial based on court-room availability.  Contractor will coordinate with US Attorney's Office Litigation Support Coordinator for authorization to bring equipment into and out of the courtroom. Set-up will include Government Furnished Equipment in addition to the following to be provided by the Contractor:

(4)   GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT: 1 Atticus Presentation System controlled by a PANJA Touch Pad, 1 set of external speakers, 1 Proxima, and 1 screen. 

(5)     DELIVERY DATE: As specified in Scope of Work

(6)     CONTRACTOR SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Contractor will need an identification containing a photograph in order to enter the Federal Building

(7)     INSPECTION/ACCEPTANCE: Contractor will test all equipment to ensure that the system functions properly. The US Attorney's Office Litigation Support Coordinator will inspect the system before trial begins for acceptance. The contractor must ensure equipment remains in working order for the duration of the trial.
