A Science Directorate oversees five Science Divisions, which focus on specialized areas of research. Each division's programs, teams

The NWFSC headquarters is located at the Montlake facility in Seattle. Five research stations
in Washington and Oregon support the Center's efforts to fulfill NOAA
fisheries' mission.
The NWFSC has several small vessels for conducting studies
and uses several NOAA vessels as well as privately chartered vessels
and academic research ships.
