BBRB Newsletter: Fall 2001

Greetings Colleagues! Welcome to the fall edition of the newsletter of the Basic Biobehavioral Research Branch (BBRB). We are pleased that our newsletter mailing list has grown to include nearly 500 behavioral scientists and cancer control researchers. The purpose of our newsletter is to provide you with timely and useful information about behavioral science research at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), the state of behavioral and social sciences research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), training and funding opportunities at NCI, and the NIH grant application and review process. We welcome your feedback, as well as any suggestions for future editions of the newsletter. Our goal is to assist cancer control researchers in advancing cancer control behavioral science. Send your comments and subscription requests to wn14x@nih.gov. For more information about the BBRB, or if you are interested in submitting a biobehavioral research application, contact Wendy Nelson, Ph.D. (301/435-4590), Paige McDonald, Ph.D. (301/435-5037), or Michael Stefanek, Ph.D. (301/496-8776), or visit our Web site at http://biobehavioral.cancer.gov.
