ARREST WARRANT ISSUED FOR PRESLEY EARL HOOD

E. Lewis, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation
in Oklahoma, Carl Hiner, Sheriff, Payne County Sheriff's Office, Norman
McNickle, Chief, Stillwater Police Department, and Thomas Jordan, Acting
Director, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, announced that a Federal
warrant has been issued for the arrest of Presley Earl Hood, 56, related
to the disappearance of Shawnda Marie Cheney, 10.
Cheney was kidnaped Friday night at approximately 7:30 p.m. near her
residence in the community of Thomasville located east of Stillwater,
Oklahoma.
Shawnda was wearing a light pink tee shirt with a rose on the front,
faded blue jean shorts, blue tennis shoes, and had a black Old Navy
purse. She is described as a white female, 4'1", 10 years-old,
weighs approximately 70 pounds, and has blonde hair and hazel eyes.
Hood is described as a white male, 56 years old, 5'8", 200 lbs.,
brown hair and blue eyes. He wears wire framed glasses.
Hood was driving his 1991 white Buick Century with a blue top, Missouri
license plate 027-RPG.
The kidnaping is being investigated by the FBI, Payne County Sheriff's
Office, Stillwater Police Department and the Oklahoma State Bureau of
Investigation.
