In response to the opening brought about by the recent and
unexpected peace in Angola, USAID undertook a review of
the current USAID/Angola program. A multi-sector team was
fielded to assess the need for modifications and/or expansions
of selected activities to better support Angola’s
transition from war to peace in an uncertain post conflict
environment.

social, and emotional violence, and of failed health systems.
