Mr. Schiff: A busy bank robber had a special name...

Ms. Brzezinski: "His nickname is the 'Puffy Cheek Bank Robber."

Mr. Schiff: That's FBI Special Agent Carrie Brzezinski in Newark, New Jersey...

Ms. Brzezinski: "His face was blown out; his cheeks were blown out and his mouth was closed and he would not speak. The consistent description was that he was puffy cheeked."

Mr. Schiff: Brzezinski says the robber held up 27 banks in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Ohio by giving a teller a note...

Ms. Brzezinski: "The note in each robbery was identical. He went on to explain that if he didn't get the money, he was going to shoot everybody in the bank."

Mr. Schiff: The robber sometimes left his notes behind. Fingerprints were analyzed at the FBI's Lab. One print was identified. That led to an arrest at an East Orange, New Jersey, restaurant. Brzezinski was there...

Ms. Brzezinski: "We went into the restaurant. It was a take-out sort of restaurant. And we went in, arrested him and canceled his order."

Mr. Schiff:The "Puffy Cheek Bandit" admitted to all 27 holdups. He was given 13 years in prison and ordered to pay $105,000 in restitution. I'm Neal Schiff and that's the FBI's Closed Case of the Week."
