DESCRIPTION

Age: 40 to 50 years of age Build: Thin to Medium
Sex: Male Hair: Black and Gray
Height: 5'10" to 6'0" Eyes: Unknown
Weight: 165 to 180 pounds Race: Black

CAUTION

An unknown Black man is wanted in connection with several bank robberies in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, California, as well as mid-city Los Angeles, which occurred between July 7, 2000 and May 30, 2002. It is alleged that the man approaches a bank teller, demands money, and simulates having a weapon in his pocket. After the unknown suspect receives his money, he orders the victim teller to turn and walk to the back of the bank and not to tell anyone. Subsequently, the unknown suspect has been referred to as the "turn and walk bandit".

REMARKS

The unknown suspect may wear prescription glasses with plastic frames and a thick black moustache.

REWARD

The FBI is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible for these bank robberies.
