On June 5, 2001, an Asian male walked into a San Diego, California bank and presented the teller with a note threatening that he had a gun and demanding money. During the robbery, the suspect pointed a gun at two of the bank tellers and, as he was leaving, grabbed a customer by the shirt and ordered him to the floor at gunpoint. He was last seen getting into a blue or teal Ford Taurus or Honda sedan. The suspect was clean shaven and had a small mole on his left cheek. He wore a white ball cap with a dark bill, a green army-type jacket, and dark pants. It is believed that this same individual robbed another San Diego bank on November 9, 2001. During this robbery, the suspect initially demanded money from a customer who was waiting in line. When the customer declined to cooperate, he redirected his attention towards two bank tellers. He then placed a note on the counter demanding money and threatening that he had a gun. He was last seen driving away in a black Nissan Pathfinder. During this robbery, the suspect wore a light baseball cap, a long-sleeved button-down shirt with peach, green, and blue vertical stripes, jeans, and sunglasses.
