An unknown male suspect is wanted for his alleged involvement in the armed robbery of numerous banks in the Puyallup area of Washington State dating back to December 30, 2000. In each robbery, the suspect robs the bank just before or shortly after the bank opens. He has used a variety of ruses including wearing a business suit, dressing as a construction worker, and pretending to be a custodian cleaning the parking lot. In some of the robberies, the suspect approached the bank employees as they arrived for work and forced them to allow him into the bank. In other robberies, he entered the bank just after it opened for business. In one robbery, the suspect broke a window to gain entry and waited for the employees to arrive for work. In the majority of the robberies, the suspect has worn a radio earpiece, which has led authorities to nickname him "The Earpiece Bandit". He has used a silver colored, semi-automatic pistol in most of the robberies. During some of the robberies, he has worn a fake moustache or beard, and epoxy glue underneath his eyes. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person responsible for these bank robberies. This is a composite sketch of the "Earpiece Bandit". IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION CONCERNING THIS PERSON, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL FBI OFFICE OR THE NEAREST AMERICAN EMBASSY OR CONSULATE. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
