CAUTION

On March 29, 2001, at approximately 4:55 p.m., a white male suspect robbed a bank in Binghamton, New York. During the robbery, the suspect carried a handgun in his waist band and an assault-style rifle on his shoulder. He also wore an earpiece in his ear as if he was listening to a scanner or was in contact with someone via a two way radio. During the approximately twenty minutes he was in the bank, the man bound one of the tellers and locked another two in the bank vault. He placed the currency in a black canvas bag which he removed from his briefcase. As the suspect left the bank, he threatened to blow up another bank he had wired with explosives if the bank employees did not wait ten minutes before calling the police.

In this robbery, the suspect had a neatly trimmed mustache/goatee, which was possibly fake, and was well dressed, possibly wearing custom tailored clothing. He wore a dress shirt, tie, black pants, black shoes with flat rubber soles, leather gloves, sunglasses, a fedora type dress hat, and a tan trench coat.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Investigation has revealed strong similarities between this robbery and two previous bank robberies committed in the Boston, Massachusetts, area, on February 11, 2000, and May 11, 2000.

On April 4, 2003, at approximately 4:55 p.m., five minutes before closing time, an unknown White male robbed a bank in Binghamton, New York. During the robbery, the suspect directed all employees into the vault and closed the inside vault door before departing. Prior to leaving, he instructed the employees to wait ten minutes before calling the police.

The robber wore a light-colored dress shirt, red tie, black pants, black shoes, a fake moustache, possible fake teeth, an English-style flat cap, a tan trench coat, and black laced shoes. He carried a dark-colored, duffle bag type briefcase from which he later removed a dark-colored nylon bag to hold the stolen currency. The robber had what appeared to be an earpiece in his ear with a wire leading under his coat. He carried a black assault rifle slung over his right shoulder which he also concealed under his trench coat. The robber put on black leather gloves as he entered the bank vault.
