Mission Statement. To serve as the foundation for comprehensive investigative training in the field for FBI employees and law enforcement partners. The Field and Police Training Unit will assess investigative training needs; identify appropriate training; develop instructional content; manage relevant programs; and evaluate training for investigators in the FBI, federal, state and local law enforcement agencies and distribute model strategies for use throughout law enforcement.
