EASTFORD POSTAL WORKER WHO ILLEGALLY OPENED MAIL IS SENTENCED Kevin J. O'Connor, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that NORMAN MORAN III, age 33, of 8 Vecchia Street, Webster, Massachusetts, was sentenced today by United States Magistrate Judge Donna F. Martinez in Hartford to three years of probation and ordered to pay a fine of $300 following his conviction for opening mail without authority. MORAN pleaded guilty to a one-count Information on February 11, 2004.
