Mr. Heron: "Murders, drug trafficking, loan sharking, extortion."

Mr. Schiff: Matt Heron, Assistant Special Agent in Charge at the FBI's New York office. He says the mob is now into stock and telephone frauds, Internet crimes and fuel cost scams...

Mr. Heron: "We have also seen, not only LCN influence, but influence by figures representing Russian Organized Crime in the area of scams involving fuel surcharges."

Mr. Schiff: Heron says the mob allegedly put a web around part of the Internet...

Mr. Heron: "They were allegedly fraudulently billing folks for, quote-unquote, free tours of adult-entertainment web sites."

Mr. Schiff: Heron says sky-high prices were charged to victims' credit cards...

Mr. Heron: "Once they got the credit card numbers, then exorbitant charges were put to those accounts.."
