He says the mob is now into stock and telephone frauds, Internet crimes and fuel
cost scams...

Heron: "We have also seen, not only LCN influence, but influence by figures
representing Russian Organized Crime in the area of scams involving fuel surcharges."

Schiff: Heron says the mob allegedly put a web around part of the Internet...

Heron: "They were allegedly fraudulently billing folks for, quote-unquote,
free tours of adult-entertainment web sites."

Schiff: Heron says sky-high prices were charged to victims' credit cards...

Heron: "Once they got the credit card numbers, then exorbitant charges were
put to those accounts.."

have indicted and arrested around a hundred members of the La Cosa Nostra. I'm
