Bernabe Roman is wanted for his alleged involvement in the murder of a male acquaintance in Athens, Alabama. The two men were attending a party in December of 1997, when they reportedly got into an argument. Before a fist fight ensued, Roman allegedly pulled out a handgun and shot the man.
Roman was charged with murder in a state arrest warrant which was issued on December 25, 1997, by the District Court of Limestone County, Alabama. On April 1, 1998, a federal arrest warrant was issued by the United States District Court, Northern District of Alabama, charging Roman with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
The FBI is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of Bernabe Roman.
