Willie Mike Minton and his wife, Susan Diane Jones Minton, have been wanted since October of 1995, when they failed to return to a Montgomery, Alabama Circuit Court following a break in their hearing on drug charges. Willie Minton was also indicted in November of 1995, in Alabama for receiving stolen property involving firearms.
After state warrants were issued for the Mintons' arrests, federal warrants were issued on November 18, 1997, by the United States District Court, Middle District of Alabama, charging the Mintons with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
In addition, Willie Minton is wanted by local law enforcement authorities in Parker County, Texas, for possession of marijuana.
