CAUTION

Terry Edward McNally, a parolee at large, is wanted in California for committing a series of crimes. It is alleged that on May 14, 2001, McNally fraudulently purchased a car from an automobile dealership in National City, California. Two days later, in San Diego, California, he allegedly purchased another vehicle in a fraudulent manner from a car dealership. During both incidents, McNally allegedly used another person's name, as well as the victim's personal identifying information, when making the fraudulent purchases. Investigation by local law enforcement authorities determined that McNally allegedly used the identity of an active duty member of the United States Navy.

A state arrest warrant was issued on August 9, 2001, by the Superior Court of California, County of San Diego, Central Division, charging Terry Edward McNally with the following crimes: use of personal identifying information of another (5 counts); and grand theft automobile (2 counts). McNally was subsequently charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution in a federal arrest warrant issued by the United States District Court, Southern District of California, on July 24, 2003.

In addition, McNally is on parole with the California Department of Corrections for similar offenses. On April 4, 2001, he was charged with violation of his parole after he failed to report to his parole agent. McNally was also charged in Los Angeles, California, with grand theft automobile, and a state warrant was issued for his arrest on August 7, 2001.
