CAUTION

Lester Gordon Edmondson is wanted for attempting to murder his ex-wife in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida. On November 19, 1994, Edmondson allegedly broke into the home of his ex-wife. Following a brief argument, Edmondson allegedly grabbed his ex-wife by the throat and choked her until she appeared to be dead, however, she survived. Edmondson subsequently fled the area and his whereabouts remain unknown.

Edmondson was charged with attempted murder in the first degree, burglary, assault, and kidnapping in a state arrest warrant which was issued on November 23, 1994 by the Circuit Court for the 6th Judicial Circuit of Florida, in and for Pinellas County, Florida. On July 21, 1995, a federal arrest warrant was issued by the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, Tampa, Florida, charging Edmondson with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
