Remarks: Head sometimes wears a ponytail or braids and may have lost weight. Head has ties to the Birmingham, Alabama metropolitan area, Indiana, California, and Florida.

CAUTION

Marcus Derand Head is wanted for his alleged involvement in a murder and attempted murders which occurred in Birmingham, Alabama. In August of 2001, Head is alleged to have broken into his estranged wife's home while she wasn't there and hid in a closet. Shortly after she returned with a male friend and another couple, Head allegedly shot and killed his estranged wife's friend, and seriously wounded his estranged wife and another man.

A state arrest warrant was issued on October 2, 2001, by the District Court of Jefferson County, Alabama, charging Head with murder and attempted murder. Head was subsequently charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution by the United States District Court, Northern District of Alabama, on September 3, 2002.
