Brigitte Hartwig is wanted for her alleged involvement in a fatal traffic accident in Palm Beach County, Florida. On May 8, 2000, Hartwig is alleged to have been driving under the influence of alcohol when she was involved in a traffic accident which resulted in the death of a nine-year-old child. On January 18, 2001, a state arrest warrant was issued by the Circuit Court of Palm Beach County, Florida charging Hartwig with driving while under the influence - manslaughter and vehicular homicide. Hartwig was subsequently charged in a federal arrest warrant in the Southern District of Florida with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Hartwig may have since left the United States and traveled to Germany.
