Welcome
to the NOAA home page—A Voyage of Discovery.
The home page
was redesigned in April 2003 to help you, the user, find information
quickly. We have broken up information using what we call "theme"
pages. These are broad categories where it is hoped you will find
the subject matter you seek with the fewest clicks possible. For
example, the weather theme page
is a comprehensive listing of the work that NOAA does on weather.
It is by no means a complete list. For more specific weather information,
it is best to visit the respective links.
We hope you find
your surfing experience at NOAA informative as well as enjoyable.
The NOAA home page is managed by the Office
of Public Affairs in Washington, D.C.
Greg Hernandez is the online editor and webmaster who is responsible
for the content of the NOAA home page.

Media
Inquiries
Media questions should be sent to Greg
Hernandez, the NOAA home page online editor. Due to the volume
of e-mail, only questions from the media should be addressed to
him. In addition, see NOAA's
Media Contacts and Story
Ideas for Reporters.
General Information - A Way to Get Answers from
NOAA
Getting answers to your questions from NOAA is now a lot easier.
The NOAA Web site, answers@noaa.gov,
helps you get the information you need. It's a knowledge-based Web
site, which is the result of the thousands of e-mail queries sent
to NOAA over the years. If you still cannot find what you're looking
for, send us a message. We'll try to find it for you. This service
is brought to you by the NOAA
Geospatial Data and Climate Services Group.
Education
Educators and students should send their questions to the
NOAA outreach team at
noaa-outreach@noaa.gov.
See the NOAA Education Web
site for teachers and students.
