Requests For Investigative Assistance

The USNCB provides investigative assistance to bona fide law enforcement agencies only. Contact your local, state or federal law enforcement agency with information or requests for assistance. See Filing A Request For International Assistance for instructions. This internet site shall not be used to submit requests for investigative assistance.

Credit Card Fraud, Counterfeit Currency

U.S. Residents - Report these matters to your local United States Secret Service field office, the telephone number of which can be found on the front inside cover of any U.S. telephone book.

Non-U.S. Residents - Report these matters to the appropriate law enforcement agency in the area in which you reside.

Advance Fee Fraud

Advance fee fraud schemes entice victims into believing they have been singled out to share in a large monetary windfall. A detailed description of these schemes and additional information are provided at www.treas.gov/usss.

If you have been victimized by one of these schemes, please forward appropriate written documentation to the United States Secret Service, Financial Crimes Division, 950 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20001. If you have received a letter, email, etc., but have not lost any monies to these schemes, please fax a copy of the correspondence to 202/406-5031.

Child Pornography

Contact your local, state or federal law enforcement agency. Additionally, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, in partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Customs Service, and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, serves as the national CyberTipline and as the national Child Pornography Tipline 1-800-843-5678. Contact the NCMEC if you have information that will help in the fight against child sexual exploitation. See www.missingkids.com for additional information.
