On April 16, 2004, an exchange program coordinator for a university in Mendoza, Argentina, called the United States Embassy in Buenos Aires to report that exchange student Anthony Hyatt Lobdell was missing. Lobdell, a student from a university in Indiana, arrived in Mendoza on February 27, 2004, to study at a Mendoza university in its exchange student program. Lobdell was last seen on April 8, 2004, walking alone in the city of Bariloche, Province of Rio Negro, Argentina. REMARKS Tony was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, a gray sweatshirt, olive-colored zip-off pants by "Old Navy," gray sneakers, and a red and blue striped knit hat. (Photo shown above.) Additionally, Tony wears glasses and may also be wearing a beard and mustache.
