Euphrates Whitt is wanted for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery and a murder which occurred in Arkansas. On April 5, 2002, Whitt entered a convenience store in Huttig, Arkansas, and allegedly proceeded to rob the store's owner. During the robbery, Whitt allegedly shot and killed the owner. He then fled the store with stolen cash.

Whitt was charged with aggravated robbery and capital murder in a state arrest warrant which was issued on April 6, 2002, by the Circuit Court of Union County, Arkansas. On April 24, 2002, a federal arrest warrant was issued by the United States District Court, Western District of Arkansas, charging Whitt with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

Whitt is also wanted by local law enforcement authorities in Lansing, Michigan, for an attempted murder which occurred in 2001.
