An unknown male suspect is wanted in connection with the robbery of five banks in Hawaii. The banks, located in Waipahu, Honolulu, and Kaimuki, were all robbed between April 14, 1999, and June 4, 1999. In each of these robberies, the suspect entered the banks and approached the teller window. He then presented the teller with a note, generally handwritten on a torn piece of paper, in which he demanded money from the teller's drawers. The suspect did not speak at all in two of the robberies and spoke in a demanding voice in the other three robberies. Three of the notes also advised the tellers that he had a gun. After receiving the money, the suspect fled the banks. The suspect had straight, black, neck-length hair, sideburns, and a moustache. He had a tanned complexion and wore sunglasses and a baseball cap, sometimes backwards. The FBI is offering a reward for information leading directly to the arrest of this suspect. IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION CONCERNING THIS PERSON, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL FBI OFFICE OR THE NEAREST AMERICAN EMBASSY OR CONSULATE. |
