On December 11, 2000, an unknown Hispanic man approached a teller at an El Paso, Texas bank. The suspect handed the teller a written note which demanded money and stated that he had a gun. After receiving the money, the suspect turned around and left the bank through the front door.

The suspect was wearing a dark green baseball cap, a green jacket with a single black vertical stripe running down the sleeves, dark colored pants, and white sneakers.
