We are now offering Direct Loan Consolidation training in Boston, MA (Region I), Atlanta, GA (Region IV), and Kansas City, MO (Region VII).

What will the training cover?

This training will cover basic concepts, processes and procedures for combining education loans into a Direct Consolidation Loan. Topics to be covered include:

The consolidation process
Regaining Title IV eligibility
Eligibility requirements
Counseling your borrowers
Repayment options
Borrower assistance service
Deferment options
Other helpful tips

Who should attend?

Financial Aid professionals wanting to assist borrowers with questions about Direct Consolidation Loans with comfort and ease.

When and where is the training?

The training sessions are from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. OR 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The enclosed schedule identifies locations and dates.

How do I register?

To register for a training session, call the contact person for the location where you want to attend training. This training is free, however you need to make your own travel and hotel arrangements. If you have any questions about hotel accommodations or directions, the contact person can assist you.
