State Reporting Status

Note:

As of the most current, complete data year (2001), all states are participating in NFIRS. The District of Columbia is not a participant. The state of Arizona does not participate in NFIRS but Arizona's fire departments do by reporting directly to USFA.

These graphs and maps are based on partial NFIRS 2004 calendar year data and only reflect those incidents that have been reported by participating states as of July 1, 2004. Since some states submit either partial annual data or the entirety of their annual data after the end of the calendar year, no conclusions about levels of participation can or should be drawn from these status charts. The USFA deadline for reporting all NFIRS 2004 data is June 30, 2005.
