No. 7 GEN-00-1(JAN) This letter transmits A Guide to 2000-2001 SARs and ISIRs.
No. 6 GEN-99-40(DEC) SUMMARY: This action letter provides information about changes and enhancements to the 2000-2001 Application Processing System, including changes to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Student Aid Report (SAR), the Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR), our electronic application products, and our new SFA download web site.
No. 5 GEN-99-34(OCT) This letter introduces the new enrollment document for the Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG). SAIG, a server based mailbox application, is replacing the Title IV Wide Area Network's (TIV WANs) mainframe based store and forward mailboxing system. This document is to be used for enrolling and updating information for SAIG. This document can be used by postsecondary institutions, third party servicers, software providers, lenders, and guaranty agencies. This document can be used immediately and should be used to enroll for the first time or update enrollment information that has not been previously submitted.
No. 4 GEN-99-25(SEP) This letter is a follow-up to Action Letter #1 (June 1999) on the 2000-2001 Renewal Application Process. It provides step-by-step instructions and tips to schools wishing to request electronic files and/or printed materials for the 2000-2001 Renewal Free Application for Federal Student Aid (Renewal FAFSA).
No. 3 GEN-99-24(AUG) Three Electronic Access Conferences that will be offered in 1999. The conferences, entitled "Power Up for 2000," will be held on November 2-4, 1999, in Miami, Florida; November 15-17, 1999, in Keystone, Colorado; and December 15-17, 1999, in San Antonio, Texas.
No. 2 GEN-99-19(JUN) This letter announces a conference for Third Party Services and Software Providers sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education August 26-27 in Arlington, Virginia.
No. 1 GEN-99-18(JUN) This letter provides advance information for schools on the changes we have made to the process for requesting electronic and/or printed Renewal Free Applications for Federal Student Aid (Renewal FAFSA) for the 2000-2001 processing cycle.
