EFC Formula Information: The 2000-2001 EFC Formula Worksheets and Tables are now available here. Information about the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) also known as the "federal need analysis methodology" will be included in the "Student Eligibility" section of the SFA Handbook. The 2000-2001 SFA Handbook has not yet been published. The regulations which addressed the changes in the 2000-2001 calculations are found in the June 1, 1999 Federal Register, and in the December 29, 1999 correction. We have provided links to those Federal Registers below, for your information.
