FBI
SEEKS PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING BANK ROBBER
John
E. Lewis, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation
in Oklahoma, announced the robbery of Mid-First Bank, 810 SW 44th, Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma.
At approximately 1:55 p.m. this afternoon, a white male wearing a dark
screen material over his face entered the bank and told the teller,
"Give me all your money - I'm not [expletive] around." He
gathered the money and exited the bank.
He was seen leaving the bank area in a late 1980's or early 1990's faded
light blue four-door Toyota Camry with Kansas tag NYI-249. That tag
may have been stolen and may not presently be on the vehicle. The vehicle
was last seen heading southbound on Western Avenue.
During the robbery, he showed the teller that he had a chrome pistol
between his arm and body.
He was described as a white male, late 40's to early 50's, 5'8"
to 5'9", heavy set with a large stomach, at least 220 lbs., medium
length brown graying hair that was balding on the sides in the front
with the hair combed to the side to conceal the bald spots, wearing
a light long sleeved dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up, a tan shirt
underneath, grey khaki shorts, dark tennis shoes, and a white ball cap.
The robber was slightly hunched at the shoulders.
The same individual may be responsible for the June 2, 2003, robbery
at the same location.
The robbery is being investigated by the FBI and Oklahoma City Police
Department.
