FBI SEEKS PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING A BANK ROBBER

R. Joe Clark, Special Agent in Charge of the Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), announced the that the Citizens Bank of Blount County (CBBC), 2041 Topside Road, Louisville, Tennessee, was robbed today at approximately 11:00 a.m., by a lone male robber.

The robber entered the bank and displayed a handgun, before obtaining an undetermined amount of money. The robber is described as, approximately 5'10 - 6'0 tall, wearing a blue bandana covering his face, with a dark colored ball cap, large plastic sunglasses, blue jeans, and a blue button-down shirt. The robber fled the bank in a truck, which was later recovered. The truck was reported stolen this morning.
