Lone Thief Robs Knoxville Bank

Joe Clark, Special Agent in Charge of the Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), announced the Knoxville Post Office Credit Union, South Branch, 4518 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, Tennessee, was robbed today at approximately 10:33 a.m. by a lone male robber.

The robber entered the bank and verbally demanded money from two different tellers. The robber obtained an undetermined amount of money, and fled the bank in a white, 4-door, compact car bearing a Tennessee license plate. The vehicle was possibly a Chrysler product.

The robber was described as a white male in his middle 30s up to 40 years old, approximately 5'9" tall and 180 pounds. He wore sunglasses, a camouflage baseball hat, blue jeans, and a light-colored jacket with a hood and zipper.
