Louis M. Reigel, III, Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for the state of Louisiana, Marshal Theophile Duroncelet, United States Marshal's Service (USMS) for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and Sheriff J. Edward Layrisson, Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, are seeking the public's assistance in locating two individuals who escaped from the Tangipahoa Parish jail in Amite, Louisiana on July 13, 2003.

Terrence Kasses Washington, who was being held on federal bank robbery charges, and Dan W. Robertson, Jr. escaped at approximately 11:00 PM and are believed to have stolen a gold and silver 2000 Jeep Cherokee bearing Louisiana license plate JAM 849.

The Metropolitan Orleans Bank Security Association (MOBSA) is offering a reward of up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the apprehension of Washington. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 504-816-3315, the USMS at 504-589-6079, or the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office at 985-748-8147.

The public is cautioned that Washington and Robertson should be considered armed and dangerous.
