On May 21, 2003, at approximately 9:42 a.m., an unknown Hispanic male walked into a credit union in El Paso, Texas, and approached one of the teller windows. The suspect allegedly provided the teller a demand note and ordered the teller to give him money. The suspect verbally threatened the teller, who provided him money. Upon receiving the money, the robber allegedly placed the cash in his pants and fled the credit union on foot. During the robbery, the suspect wore the following: sunglasses; a blue T-shirt; white pants; and a beige ball cap with an unknown triangular-shaped logo. The robber also wore a mustache and beard.
