Several customers and a bank employee attempted to flee the bank. The suspect, seeing movement near the doors, fired two rounds from a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun. One round struck and killed a bank employee and the second round struck an elderly customer who recovered from his wound. Both men were shot in the back from a distance of 40-50 feet.
