Finding Ovarian Cancer Early in High-Risk Women  
A Cancer Genetics Network (GGN) Study    

The Risk of Ovarian Cancer Algorithm (ROCA) Study

Group of 4 women Women at high risk for ovarian cancer (cancer of the ovaries) are invited to join a new study that is looking at ways to find the cancer early. "High risk" means that you have more chance of getting ovarian cancer than other women because relatives have had ovarian or breast cancer. Women have a better chance of surviving ovarian cancer when it is found early. The study is called the "Risk of Ovarian Cancer Algorithm" study, or the ROCA study.

The study is sponsored by the Cancer Genetics Network (CGN), in collaboration with the Ovarian Specialized Programs of Research Excellence (SPOREs). Both groups are part of the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health.
