Mr. Schiff: Long prison terms, life for some, for gang members who put fear into people living in Maryland...

Mr. Maddox: "There's a neighborhood in West Baltimore called Lexington Terrace; it's an apartment-type complex."

Mr. Schiff: That's FBI Special Agent Barry Maddox in Baltimore...

Mr. Maddox: "Several individuals became known as the 'Lexington Terrace Boys.' They had been raised in that environment which, unfortunately, was a very bad environment with drugs and violence throughout their life. As they became teenagers and young 20s, they became more and more involved in the drug trade."

Mr. Schiff: Maddox says the gang was involved in several murders. FBI Agents worked with Baltimore City and County Police and the city's Housing Authority hunting down the gang...

Mr. Maddox: "By approaching some lower level dealers, if you will, or some people that got arrested in a lower level position, they would cooperate and there was also some cooperative witnesses developed."

Mr. Schiff: With that help and surveillance, five gang members were convicted at trial and sent to prison. I'm Neal Schiff and that's the FBI's Closed Case of the Week."
