Mr. Schiff: The New Jersey Turnpike is where the case ended, but it started when a policeman was shot...

Ms. Vizi: "Initially there was a shooting of a police officer that worked for the Camden County Parks System in New Jersey."

Mr. Schiff: That's FBI Special Agent Linda Vizi in Philadelphia. She says police and Agents hunted for the gunman. It was believed he was involved with friends and family in some serious bank robberies...

Ms. Vizi: "They were using a lot of high powered weapons and were not afraid to shoot."

Mr. Schiff: The FBI got a tip about the group's next job. Vizi says the individuals had high-powered weapons, so, to keep citizens safe, a rest stop along the New jersey Turnpike was picked by the state police to make the arrests...

Ms. Vizi: "As they turned the corner and attempted to take down an armored car, the FBI SWAT team was there to take them down."

Mr. Schiff: Some shots were fired; one gunman was hurt. They all were arrested and eventually ended up in prison. I'm Neal Schiff and that's the FBI's Closed Case of the Week."
