Marilyn Moore

Mrs. Moore is a native
of Maryland, and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of
Maryland where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management,
Personnel and Labor Relations, in 1990. In 1997, she earned her
Master's Degree in Applied Management from University College in
College Park, Maryland.
While attending college,
Mrs. Moore served in the District of Columbia Air National Guard
from 1986 to 1995. Mrs. Moore was an honor graduate of the U.S.
Air Force Basic Training in San Antonio, Texas, and a John Levitow
graduate of the Non-Commissioned Officer's Preparatory course.
During her military career she was an a Administrative Specialist
in the Base Training Personnel Office, and later, a Training Manager
for the 113th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. In 1995, she was honorably
discharged as a Technical Sergeant from the D.C. Air National Guard.
In 1990, Mrs. Moore began
her full-time career at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management
in the Washington Area Service Center as a Personnel Staffing Specialist.
In 1992, she transferred to the U.S. Census Bureau as a Management
Analyst working on various management studies, the implementation
of an automated accounting system (Commerce Administrative Management
System), and prototyping of a system to provide Internet access
to Census Bureau survey and census data.
In 1998, Mrs. Moore was
promoted to Chief of the Correspondence Management/Information
Management Staff in the Census Bureau's Policy Office and later,
served as Chief of Correspondence Quality Assurance Staff. Her
responsibilities included managing correspondence for the Director
and Deputy Director's signature, along with processing any Census
Bureau-related correspondence for the signature of the Under Secretary,
Economics and Statistics Administration, and the Secretary of Commerce.
Mrs. Moore entered on
duty with the FBI as of July 13, 2002, with the Records Management
Division to manage the Executive Secretariat for the FBI.
