Mark Steven Bullock -- Assistant Director, Administrative Services Division

In August 1983, Mr. Bullock entered on duty as a Special Agent (SA) with the FBI. He was assigned to the Phoenix Division from December 1983 through September 1985 and the Miami Division from October 1985 through February 1990. SA Bullock's primary investigative assignments were in the White Collar Crime (WCC) area, but he has also had significant involvement with violent crimes and terrorism investigations.

In March 1990, SA Bullock was promoted to a Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) position in the WCC Section, at FBIHQ. SSA Bullock's primary assignments were in the international frauds and money laundering areas. In August 1992, SSA Bullock transferred to the Chicago Division to supervise an Economic Crimes (EC) squad. In January 1994, SSA Bullock was reassigned to supervise an organized crime squad that investigated Asian, Russian and Nigerian criminal enterprises. From May through August 1995, SSA Bullock served as Administrative Supervisor at the Oklahoma City, "OKBOMB" command post.

In September 1995, SSA Bullock was promoted to Chief of the Economic Crimes Unit at FBIHQ. In this capacity, he was responsible for investigative program management in the national priority areas of telemarketing fraud, bankruptcy fraud, securities fraud, insurance fraud and money laundering.

On August 1, 1997, Mr. Bullock initiated service as Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) in the Phoenix Division. During his tenure in Phoenix, ASAC Bullock was responsible for the WCC and Technical programs, an Organized Crimes/Drug squad, two resident agencies and all administrative operations for the Phoenix Division.

In February 2000, Mr. Bullock was promoted to the FBI's Senior Executive Service as an Inspector at FBIHQ, in Washington, D.C. In this capacity, he managed inspections of field offices, as well as FBIHQ entities.

On May 16, 2001, Mr. Bullock was appointed to serve as Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the Cleveland Division of the FBI. He returned to FBI Headquarters as Deputy Assistant Director of the Criminal Investigative Division, then was named Assistant Director of the Administrative Services Division on July 14, 2003.

Mr. Bullock, a Chicago native, was born May 5, 1959. He attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, IL and earned a Bachelors of Science degree in accounting in 1981. He attained his CPA certificate in 1982. Prior to entering on duty with the FBI, Mr. Bullock was employed by Coopers & Lybrand, CPAs as a staff and senior auditor from July 1981 through July 1983.
