Kevin
R. Brock - Assistant Director, Office of Intelligence
Mr.
Brock is a 1976 graduate of the University of Connecticut
with a B.A. in Political Science. Mr. Brock was employed
by an engineering company in Sacramento, California prior
to entering on duty with the FBI in August 1983.
After
completing training, Mr. Brock was assigned to the Albuquerque
division where he worked homicides and serious assault matters
on Indian Reservations, as well as general criminal and
Domestic Terrorism cases.
In
January 1987, Mr. Brock was transferred to the Los Angeles
Division and assigned to one of the country's first Joint
Terrorism Task Forces where he investigated primarily Domestic
Terrorism matters. Mr. Brock was promoted to FBIHQ in March
1990 as a Supervisor in Division 5.
In
December 1992, Mr. Brock was assigned to the Seattle division
as a Field Supervisor. He initially managed a Counterintelligence/Counterterrorism
squad and then in February 1996 was appointed SSRA of the
Tacoma Resident Agency supervising a full range of criminal
investigations.
In
February 1998, Mr. Brock was promoted to ASAC in the Detroit
division where he managed all investigative programs as
well as the division's Resident Agencies in the Western
District of Michigan. He initiated innovative strategies
in the Public Corruption and Cyber-crime arenas and had
extensive interaction with law enforcement executives in
Canada on cross-border projects.
Mr.
Brock was appointed Special Assistant to the Deputy Director
in March 2001. He was also named Administrator of the Resource
Management and Allocation Board on behalf of the Deputy
Director.
In
January 2003, the Director named Mr. Brock SAC of the Cincinnati
Division, and in June 2004, Mr. Brock served as Acting Assistant
Director of the Office of Intelligence.
On
August 11, 2004, Director Mueller appointed Mr. Brock Assistant
Director of the Office of Intelligence.
